Smith-Meyer-Elizabeth

Elizabeth Smith-Meyer

Elizabeth was born with a passion for books and horses. She holds an MFA in fiction from the University of Notre Dame, where she learned more about writing and unexpectedly became smitten with football. Elizabeth writes short stories, novels, and poems and has written and directed more than 10 plays for middle-school students. On the horse front, she spends as much time as possible with her American Warmblood, Brenna, who has recently gotten over her fear of foliage. Elizabeth lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with her husband, two children, a rabbit, and three rescue cats: Peter, Ricky, and Carson.
